Asus Launches U33 and U53 Notebooks from Its Eco-Friendly Bamboo Series
Asus U33 and U53 Notebooks
Asus has presented its brand new notebooks from the Bamboo series. The two Asus Bamboo laptops
are called U53 and U33 and both were made using hybrid engine technology.
It would be interesting to note that such technology allows the computer to show high performance when required and go easy when necessary, thus cutting the level of power consumption.
The two notebooks from Asus run oni5-430M processors. Both provide 2.26GHz of speed, 4GB in RAM and feature Nvidia GeForce 310M DDR3 1GB video cards, 2Mpx webcam a HDMI port, USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports.
There are a few differences between the two models - the U53 has more advanced features, including a 15.6-inch screen and HDD with a 640GB capacity, while the U33 has a 13-inch screen with HDD of 500GB.
According to the company the U53 can cut emissions by 18.43Kg and the U33 by 22.24Kg "as compared with that stipulated by the ErP standard."
For Asus U33 notebook you will have to pay GBP849 (USD1,090) and for the U53 model GBP899 (USD1,150).
